Cochno Farm
The university of Glasgow's operable farm, containing the Cochno House (c1700s) and 1000 acres of land. A herd of 100 milking dairy cows (Holstein-Friesian) and about 450 ewes (mostly Texels and mules) are maintained here, also a smallish herd of dairy beef suckler cows.
